The goal of the Women Voter Project is to increase turnout among California Democratic women voters in the upcoming election. Non-presidential elections tend to be lower turnout years, and as 2018 could very well be the new “Year of the Woman,” with more women running for office and getting engaged electorally, it’s important to get women to the polls to counteract national concerns about human and civil rights.

The Women Voter Project will also serve as an educational resource, informing women on the positions taken by respected organizations related to candidates and ballot measures.
